COVID-19 has made its presence felt with tragic results in our aged care sector. A major factor of infection control of this disease that seems to be emerging in research is the amount and quality of fresh air supplied within aged care facilities. Baumgart Clark Architects is following this research closely and working with mechanical engineers and aged care providers in the non-profit and profit sector on providing further analysis of existing sites.
On top of this, we are informing all of our new aged care facilities designs with the findings of emerging research, ensuring that fresh air and air exchange figure prominently in any mechanical solutions.
If you would like to discuss this in relation to an existing or new facility, contact Marcus Baumgart here.
